Copyright Policy And DMCA Notices
Lost Pet Radar respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that content on this site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at the contact information below.
Required Elements Of A Takedown Notice
Your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, a URL).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.
Notices that are materially incomplete will not be acted upon. Knowingly submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Only DMCA-related legal notices should be sent to this address; all other inquiries should use the site's contact page. A designated agent must be on file with the U.S. Copyright Office under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2) for this notice-and-takedown procedure to establish safe-harbor protection.

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to the same agent address. Your counter-notification must include: (a) your electronic or physical signature; (b) identification of the removed material and its former location; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and (d) your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction in your federal district.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, the content may be restored at our discretion.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Lost Pet Radar has adopted and reasonably implements a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
For purposes of this policy, a "repeat infringer" is a user who has been the subject of more than one good-faith notice of claimed infringement, or who has otherwise repeatedly posted content that infringes the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others. We may track and count notices of claimed infringement associated with a user or account, and we reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes a repeat infringement and what circumstances warrant termination.
Where appropriate, we may terminate or suspend the account of a repeat infringer without prior notice, and we may decline to permit a terminated user to re-register or create a new account. Termination under this policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any other remedies available to us under these terms or applicable law.
